Support

Daffodils Fostering knows only too well the challenges of working with children and young people and will be providing support 24 hours a day 365 days of the year.

The following services are available as part of our support packages:

• Contact with a designated Social Worker over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
• Dedicated staff (Out-Of-Hours) available after office hours to assist you
• Specialized training to assist the fostering family to support the child looked after
• Mentoring for children and young people
• Planned respite breaks where required
• One-to-one support workers to help you with education, training, and apprenticeships
• Foster carers are invited to monthly meetings
• A social worker should visit you at least once a month to fully support you in your role and to identify any training needs to provide you with additional skills
• Membership of the Fostering Network is a great way to access any further professional independent advice
• Fostering-specific tax advice is available for free
• Access to a large number of training material
